At Thoroughbreds, nothing is more paramount importance than the health and safety of our beloved customers and our family of staff. In our restaurant, we are putting a great deal of emphasis on the procedures that support our high standards that we have upheld since opening in 1988 in the areas of cleanliness and health. Some of the most important areas of focus are:
• Ensuring that our excellent hand washing practices are rigorously followed
• Strictly requiring staff who don’t feel well to stay home from work
• Frequently disinfecting commonly touched surfaces in all areas
According to the CDC, “Coronaviruses are generally thought to be spread from person-toperson through respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support trans-mission of COVID-19 associated with food.”
To keep you and our staff safe, we have transitioned our restaurant to limited indoor din-ing and carry-out. Strict “social distancing” measures are in place, therefore limiting the number of people permitted in the restaurant for carry-out orders.
We have redesigned and reinvigorated our menu options to continue to provide the excel-lence you have come to know from our fine dining as well as allowing for options well suited during this transitional time made with the freshest local “farm to table” ingredi-ents.
Every day, we hold ourselves to very high cleanliness and health standards that are de-signed to maintain a safe and healthy environment in our restaurant. In addition, we re-main vigilant in learning more about this disease by monitoring developments closely and keeping informed of additional recommendations from DHEC and other public health agencies.
